- Feb 3, '07 by teddy04hi, i'm a foreign BSN graduate and my GPA scoring from my country is kinda different, in my country 1 is the highest and 5 is fail. And I am very interested to do CRNA in the near future. Since the scoring from my country is different from here.. what is exactly the range of a GPA of 3?
Thanks - Feb 4, '07 by skipawayQuote from teddy04It differs, but it should be greater than a "B"hi, i'm a foreign BSN graduate and my GPA scoring from my country is kinda different, in my country 1 is the highest and 5 is fail. In most areas a 3.0-3.5 is a B- to a B+
A 3.5-4.0 is an A- to an A+ - Feb 4, '07 by teddy04thanks, and B- to a B+ is equevalent to? (80?) because we don't use letters either.. we use percentage.
- Feb 4, '07 by piper_for_hireI think you'll have to contact the universities you are interested in to find this out. They most likely have a conversion method. Every nursing school uses a slightly different grading scale and my guess is that they have a way to interpret other types of grading systems into their own.
-S - Feb 4, '07 by skipawayQuote from teddy04Again, it depends. In more stringent universities, I think it's 86-93 but I may be wrong. Other places it's 80-89.thanks, and B- to a B+ is equevalent to? (80?) because we don't use letters either.. we use percentage.

- Feb 9, '07 by piper_for_hireyes - the hype is really silly at times and sometimes discouraging on this board too. The worst offending phrase IMHO is "as the pool of applicants increases". That one used to freak me out - as if there were so many people applying that I would never get an interview let alone an acceptance letter. My experience was the exact opposite.
