by sunshine456 Jul 22, '12I have some quick questions about my GPA competiveness for CRNA School. First off, I originally went to school couple years ago, received a Biology degree and did not get accepted to any second-degree program due to my low GPA. But I went back, did all my pre-requests/retake, and took extra gen-ed classes in order to raise my GPA, (getting all A’s in all the classes I took) and raised to it to a total cumulative GPA of a 3.0. I was finally accepted to a second-degree program and I am almost done with the program, which looks like I should finish at a 3.8. I was wondering, if do really good on the GRE’s, have the ICU experience, & letter of rec’s, would I have a possible chance in acceptance to a CRNA program? I’ve been hearing students saying a 3.5 are competitive so I’m really not sure if I am competitive anymore! Do you think the committee would consider me, since I have went back to school got all A’s on pre-requests, and A’s in nursing school? I’m so nervous, any help would be awesome!
