Re: CRNA program and Accelerated BSN?
Thanks for the replies guys...
I don't plan to apply for a couple years still since I will graduate the accelerated BSN program in August. I agree the content isn't that difficult but there is alot to do in a short amount of time, everything is crammed, and lots of papers and careplans that take hours, plus clinicals and LIFE. I always hear people say things like "this class was so hard" or "that professor is impossible to get a good grade with," and then I take the class and its a typical college class. So I was just wondering if the CRNA program was similar, and if I can do the accelerated program, then I'd be able to get through the CRNA program?
I live in metro detroit. I was thinking about applying to an NP program, take a class or two at a time, while I work and gain experience to get into the CRNA program. I know it depends on the university but do you know if or which classes I could take that may transfer, or will at least give me a head start on the CRNA program so it won't be so intense to start out?
