I am currently in my freshman year at college, but I've known since my junior year at high school that I've wanted to become a CRNA. So, I have a few questions in regards to what steps I need to take in order to prepare for CRNA school.
For starters, what should I do to make my application stand out? My GPA is currently at a 4.0, but will that be enough? Should I become more involved at my current school, and/or do some volunteer work on the side? Will that make my application look more competitive? Also, what sciences should I consider taking, and will it be looked down upon if those credits come from a community college? Lastly, will 2 years of experience be enough experience when compared to other applications? Sorry for all of the questions, but I will much appreciate any responses.
Thanks in advance!

many of your questions are answered in other threads on this site. please use the search function.
in short try to get a 4.0 through your entire college career. Taking extra Sciences after you are a nurse or if you have the availability during school is great.
things like organic chemistry biochemistry or after you have your bachelors degree then grad level pathophysiology, physiology or pharmacology would look great.
2 years of high acuity Icu work would be great. But the more the merrier. only you will know when you are ready to enter autonomous profession
