Hello all! I noticed a thread had not been started for those of us applying for Fall of 2013 so I thought I would start one. How are things going for everything regarding the application process?

Another lurker who finally created an account with the site here. I was also accepted for WHNP/CNM. Yale was the program I wanted so I didn't even bother clicking submit on the application for the other two schools I heavily considered. Glad it worked out. Whew!

Cost is definitely an issue. I'm terrified of loans! Grateful for the merit based scholarship and looking forward to seeing what the financial aid package looks like.

I know this is an old post but hopefully you still come to this forum -- could you please post your stats? And your volunteer experience? I will also be applying to psych NP programs. I am mainly worried about my volunteer experience. I did two years in a mental health center for cognitively disabled individuals working under a clinical psychologist, and also two years as a lab manager in a clinical psych research lab (ran many clinical assessments). I am not sure if my volunteer experience is enough for psych NP programs. Should I go volunteer in a hospital or do something else? I plan on applying fall of 2013.

Hi! I was wondering if anyone has any information regarding RN's who apply to the MSN portion at Yale this upcoming Fall, as opposed to the GEPN program. Does anyone have any stats as far as how many apply and get accepted, specifically for FNP? Type of scores, GRE's, and experience? A lot of the information on here seems to be geared towards the GEPN's, which is great, but I wonder if its applicable to RN's applying to the program. Any information anyone may have is greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

I think this forum is specific to the GEPN program. Did you see if there was another specific to the MSN one or Yale School of Nursing in general?

Yes, I have, and there really isn't too much information that I could find applicable. I suppose I was wondering if any information was mentioned during campus interviews or visits? Thanks!
