I agree. I have 6 colleges to list, and so far all but two are listed as "Transcripts Received". I'm giving it another week, and if it's still not received, I'll either reorder them, or see if I can call and find out what the problem is. So nerve-wracking!
Well congrats!!! I' hoping to get them ordered and tomorrow. If I would have known about that component, I would have submitted LONG ago. You already submitted your app correct Maseca?
  2. The pre req courses for nursing were done after I received my BA. I listed them as lower div. Should I change it to Post-bac?

    Gosh this is confusing.

Yes, I submitted my app the day it was available. I'm uber neurotic like that.

Have any of you gotten the email from NursingCAS about answering the question about graduate school? When I submitted my application, the instructions read that if you're applying to an entry-level program, you should answer "No" when asked if you are applying to grad school. Then this morning I got an email saying that I should change that answer to "Yes"! But when I go into the application to try and make the change, that entire section is grayed out! So frustrating!

I have an email into NursingCAS, but I foresee having to call and sort this out. Thus far, I've been less than impressed with NursingCAS.
  4. Does anyone know the length of Western's statement of purpose? Is it 1-3 pages?

I have the same problem. I'm going to call them to sort it out as well.

When I talked with my admission counselor, she said that they generally wanted the statements to be about two pages long. The NursingCAS statement is only about 500 words.
  7. At Preview Day they mentioned a 2 page goal statement is sufficiemt amd the NursingCAS statement is basically a mini version of that.

Question about the "Professional Experience," did any of you fill out that section as well? I would have thought uploading our Resume would suffice. I guess not?
  8. Here's the response I got from NursingCAS regarding the change of designations I mentioned above. Makes sense, but they really don't make this clear in their initial email.

    Good Afternoon,

Thank you for contacting customer service. As your application has already been
submitted to your designated programs, you will not be able to change that
section of your application. As you have already submitted it, it will be
processed and sent to the schools which you have designated on your
    application.

It explicitly state in the secondary online application of Western Univ that the personal statement must be 3-pages, double-spaced, and 12 pt font.
  10. I'm in the process of completing my application for Western Univ and I just want to double check that I'm filling out the "coursework" section correctly. I only attended one college where I received my BS degree. So when I fill out the "coursework" section I will start a session for Fall Sem of 2003 (lower division) and add the courses I took during that semester. Then add another session for J-term 2004 (short winter semester) and add the courses I took. Then add another session for Spring 2004 and add the courses I took. And so on..When I'm done I should have multiple sessions under that college? I got confused when NursingCAS's direction of one session per transcript and etc... Please let me know if I'm filling it correctly. Thanks.

BTW: Could I esubmit my NursingCAS application even though one of my letter of recomm is enroute to NursingCAS (spoke with the person who completed my letter of recomm and he mailed it yesterday)? Or do I have to wait that they receive all the documents (transcripts and letters of recomm). Please advice.

Lastly, you know the electronic PDF files that we have to fill out and email to EDS, when you enter info in the space provided it doesn't show all the characters that you typed out when you print to file via PDF. Did you guys encounter this? Or did anyone resort to filling it out by hand and scan it as PDF file? Please advise.
