Hi 2010,

Yep, that is the CV I meant. I was looking online for samples and most were for academic/overseas and all that information was provided. It seemed odd since we don't include those things on our resumes. I am still planning on applying to Oklahoma University (Glendale) this summer too. They have one in San Diego too with Sharps Hospital. The program is on hold presently because San Diego State is likely to take over. Its an accelerated BSN (2nd careers) program. Not sure where else to apply too. CSUF has a long waiting list. Azusa Pacific has too many prereqs. CSUSB has a long list waiting too. I don't want to go backwards to get the ADN (or wait 2-3 years on a list). Where were you planning to apply as backup choices?

So Cal

Hi SoCal nursing!
Sorry it has taken me a while to respond. I am in Ecuador right now and don't have much time on the computer. I also applied to Creighton University (which is in Nebraska!!) and I am doing the advising session/interview at AZUSA when I get home in December, but it is my understanding that their fall and winter terms are already full.

Did you submit all of your application material to Western University? They have had my application for 2 months now and I have not heard anything, except that they received it. I know 2 months is not that long, but I am so incredibly anxious!

Has anyone else on this site applied for the Fall 2010 MSN-E program at Western University of Health Sciences?

hi 2010!

wow ecuador! that's exciting. i stopped into the school last week to see if they received a transcript that was to be received by them last month but they had piles of applications from all the programs to go through so the counselor said it is likely in the pile but they havent gotten the chance to get through them all. At least you received a postcard. I still have some transcripts to submit but they are for pending items. i haven't really looked into Azusa since i havent taken biochem yet.

i just got an email saying that my statistics course will not meet the requirement and that I will have to complete a statistics course by this Spring in order to be considered for Fall 2010. I am really disappointed because I submitted the course description over a year ago and got a response that the course was approved, and now I have to take another class next semester.
Have you completed all of the requirements, or do you have any courses in progress next semester?

I am in anatomy, physio and chem this term... microbio for winter or spring to be enrolled. so i have all my sciences pending. Hopefully you'll get your stats class in and lucky that you found out now before your enrollment for spring term. I haven't gotten any emails from them. Perhaps i should stop in again to check on the status...

Hello All,

I have applied to the Fall 2010 MSN-E program. I sent in my application on October 26, and received an email on November 18 that they received it. When I called an admissions counselor (Nicole Gonzalez) she said that I should recieve notification within 2 weeks of when the completed application has been processed and ready for review. It seems like they have an overwhelming number of applications this year, but no one as been able give me a number so far...

This is the only program that I've applied to, so I hope I get in! I'd love to meet other 2010 MSN-E applicants and hear about what your application experiences are like!

I decided to apply for the MSN-FNP program here after all. I have just about everything ready to go and hope to get my package in the mail tomorrow or Monday. This school is more expensive than the others I applied to but it seems so well put together. Good luck to us all!!

Can any current student tell me what you think of your program so far? Is the faculty helpful? Is the program do-able while working? Anything else you can share would be great.
