I didn't see a thread, so I started one.
I am planning on applying this fall for the Direct Entry MSN program. Anyone else?

Congrats on the acceptance. I also applied to university of Hawaii but didn't get in. At least you'll have a career once you're finish :) best of luck to you.

Thank you! I'm still holding on to a teeny bit of hope for Western, but just making my plans as though I will be moving to Hawaii. It's actually pretty exciting, but super scary.
Yes, I think we are all holding out and hoping to hear from back western! :)
Anyone from the last interview hear back from Western yet ?

Just wanted to let you guys know, I received an acceptance yesterday and am declining today so that should open up another spot! Good luck to all of you. Keep your eyes on the prize and don't let a rejection or alternate letter deter you!

And when was your interview?

Yes I got an alternate letter on March 18 and my interview date was February 13, so there is still hope! Don't give up quite yet.
Thank you @dnhumphries! Why did u decide to decline western?

Hello,
I believe at least one person from the late interview got an acceptance already.
Thank you for the info and the support. Good luck!
To be honest, Western was my number one choice until the interview process. The disorganization and lack of communication made me feel a little uneasy, as well as the talk about changing the program's structure. I have heard amazing things about Western but when I interviewed for the USD MEPN program I was extremely impressed with everything they had to offer. I felt like they were trying to impress the applicants as much as we were trying to impress them. It was these minor differences that ultimately led me to my decision to go there instead. Plus it allowed me to open a seat for one of you very deserving applicants. :)
