Mickeydoodle315 & 2bgr8nurse, I am also interviewing on 08/10 at 10am. I am so nervous and anxiously waiting. I kind of wished I had the Saturday one so that I could enjoy the rest of my weekend. Hehe

Well I can't wait to meet you guys and everyone else on Monday!

hey guys! they let us go at 12, so i didn't hang around to meet you folks in the 1:30 interview. it was definitely an interesting experience. the most unusual interview i've ever been to!

the best advice has already been given. relax and be yourself! they want to see you as your genuine self. one specific suggestion: listen (i mean really listen) to the instructions given by the interviewers and follow them! and make sure to raise your hand and not interrupt other speakers. our group was good about that, which was great. anyway, best of luck to you all!!!

Wow I can't believe there was a thread about the Sacramento FNP program here the entire time! Wish I would have found it earlier! And 7 Pages! I just got a call from Liza for early admittance. Was anyone here in the saturday 10am-12pm group?

WOW you are so lucky. I heard they only pick one from each interview for early admittance. Now you don't have to sit and wonder like the rest of us do. Congratulations on getting in!

No I was in the interview group today. How many people were in your group? We only had 13, which I thought was small. How was your interview, what'd you think?

I think my interview group had like 16-18 people. To be honest I didn't come away feeling too good about the interview because I didn't think my answers were that long and the people in the group all sounded very well qualified in the academic world. There was a guy in my group who was a lawyer, a woman who was a registered Dietician, and other people who already had masters in other areas.

How about you? was the interview process pretty chill with only 13?

I feel that I did okay with the questions portion of it, but thinking back on the plagiarism task has me thinking there's no way I'll get in. I totally just rearranged all the words, but didn't change it into my own. I was just about to rewrite it when the panel came back into the room. I feel out of my group that I am the least qualified on paper, but that is why they hold these interviews to meet you in person and see how well you work with other people. It was an interesting experience and it sounds like it's a really good school. Hope I will be joining you next semester.
