Samuel Merritt ELMSN Fall 2009 Interviews!

I don't think that there is a interview for the ABSN program. I didn't apply for that program but did attend an information session for both. What they told us is that your chances of being accepted are much higher if you are willing to attend any of the campuses that offer the ABSN. I think they have four... other than that I would say the standard things...that grades, especially science pre recs and NET test scores should be good, and good letters of rec are important! hope that helps...Good luck!

Congrats to those who already got interviews over with! I just got an email from SMC and set up an interview on March 4. Hopefully I won't freak out too much!! I'm already stressed!

I just interviewed for the Fall 2009 FNP class at SMU. It was an interesting experience indeed! I guess now it's time to just sit back and wait patiently. It would be great to know when everyone starts hearing of acceptance or waitlist status. Did anyone else attend the Feb. 21st interview?

*Sigh* I just got back from an interview for CM...I feel somewhat relieved, but it's not over yet...I have to wait a month before acceptance letters go out!

The interviewer said I was a good match for the program and that she will fight for my acceptance. Is she serious or is she just making me feel better?

Has anyone heard back from for the Fall 09 ELMSN-FNP program after the interview? I had my interview on Feb 19th and at the end of the interview they said that notice letters will be sent out by the first week of March. So far I have a friend who told me that her friend received a letter on Monday putting her on the waitlist. Its almost the end of the week and of course I'm anxious...did anyone else receive a letter?
