    Hi All!

This question is specifically for the PhD students. I graduated from a second-degree prgram this year and received my RN in July. I'm currently looking for new grad jobs, but I know in a couple of years I'll want to go back to school and eventually earn my PhD.

I'm completely at a loss when it comes to researching programs. My interests specifically involve the use of techology in medicine and nursing, specifically things like virtual reality and interactive video games in healing. I'm also interested in health policy.

How do I begin to find people already researching these areas? How do I find an appropriate PhD program? Any advice is appreciated!

  4. Look in PubMed and other library resources to see who is publishing in this area. You will want to be mentored by someone who is doing current research in this area.

A second thought would be to look at universities that are conducting research in complementary and alternative therapies in nursing. These schools should have nursing faculty researching alternative healing methodologies.
