    I'm currently a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner student living in Las Vegas, NV and in need of a preceptor. I never thought that it would be so difficult to find my own preceptor, but it has been a very difficult task! I'm wondering if any other practitioner student is having the same difficulty and if they have any suggestions? My clinical rotation begins in the spring of 2014 and need to secure the preceptor soon. If anyone knows of a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who preceptors, please let me know. I'm willing to travel if needed. Any suggestion would be appreciated!

    I am having the exact same problem and wondering if I will need to relocate. I start FPMHNP clinicals in the fall 2013, I have called several agencies and providers within a 60 mile radius and no one will call back. It would be nice to not only find someone, but to have that someone actually be interested in precepting as well.
