It is still required for the PhD in Nursing (including the BSN-to-PhD).
For the Master's Entry program (Clinical Nurse Leader), the GRE is required only for those whose undergraduate GPA is 3.25 or under.
Good for them. Welcome them to the 21st century!
A more scientifically appropriate policy (at least as valid) would be the following:
1. BSN-Ph.D. GRE required, except for every third Tuesday following a quantified ooija board assessment.
2. BSN-MSN: GRE required only if the candidate has not had a qualified palm reading in the last 45 days, exluding those with GPA's between 3.25-3.95. Those with higher than 3.95 are automatically suspect and consequently will need the GRE, unless waived for a Mother's Day exception.
3. Masters Entry: GRE for all, because they wouldn't know the meaning of a Pearson coefficient of r= 0.03 and r=-.05 if it hit 'em in the face.
