Just Accepted to USA's MSN program

I just found out that I got accepted to University of South Alabama's MSN program for Community/Public Health Nursing. I will start in January. The program is 1 year full-time, but 2 years part-time. I'm going part-time since I work full-time. Actually, I've only been nursing for 3 months now. In fact, I just got out of orientation and am on my own now. I didn't think I'd be accepted to the program. I'm assuming my previous experience in Public Health must have helped me a lot. Anyway, anyone else going for Community/Public Health Nursing? If so, where's your program? How long is it? Are you enjoying it?

So far the program is good. I'm in my first semester. I'm taking only one class online for now just to test the waters. Be prepared for lots of reading and writing though. Best of luck!!

thats cool johnson, are you in your first semester. how does finding a preceptor work at UAB?

Hey tmarie, do you already have a preceptor in mind or do you already have one? I still need to find someone, ive heard that this is a big problem with online NP programs (finding a preceptor) when your not in the same city as the school your in, but hopefully USA has some contacts here in Jacksonville, FL.

by the way where are you guys located
