Direct Entry Programs in the South

Hi all,

Been a lurker for a few months now, and still haven't managed to catch anything significant on the programs in the south! I've gotten into Vanderbilt's FNP program and am waiting (anxiously mind you) to hear from Emory. Does anyone know about these programs? Or is anyone also looking into these programs?

Hi Kaeli! I am attending Vanderbilt's Acute Care NP program in the Fall - I have heard great things about both programs. It was a no brainer for me seeing as I am from Nashville, but I definitely respect Emory's medical school and nursing school as well. On the whole, I like Nashville better than Atlanta (then again maybe I am partial) Anyway, good luck!

I'm planning on attending Vandy in the fall also (Pediatric NP track). Maybe I'll see one or both of you around.
