BSN Nurse looking at UMASS Boston BSN to PhD program

Hi. I'm a nurse with a Bachelors degree working currently on a MedSurg. Tele floor. I have my heart set on earning a PhD in Nursing and I figure this is the best time in my life to do so. I was wondering if anyone could share with me some advice on going for a PhD in Nursing. I am particularly interested in UMASS Boston's PhD program. I was wondering how well I would need to do on my GRE (math is not my strength) and what other measures would boost my chances in getting accepted. I hope some day to be a nurse educator and specialize in the OR. Any advice is welcomed, and thank you for sharing it with me!
