A friend of mine just graduated from nursing with her BSCN (ontario, Canada) and has already started her online Masters through University of Phoenix.
Every online Masters program I've seen has stated you need 3 years of work experience before being eligible for enrollment.
So, how did she get accepted without having 3 years of work experience?
Are there certain Master programs that do not require 3 years? Is it just a 'guideline'? What's the catch!?

Depends on the program. Many don't require 3 years' experience. In fact, some accept people for MSNs with no healthcare experience at all.
