I just applied to the Entry Level Masters program for Azusa Pacificu University and the deadline was November 1st....has anyone received a phone call for an interview? They are very vague on when you might hear something so I just want to know if anyone has heard....I have a 4.0 in all my pre reqs and a 3.7 GPA on my previous bachelors...I have no volunteer work so im curious if im still competitive or what you guys have going in as well that have heard...I dont know if its going through the pile thing, or if they call the people they like the best first? Im trying to be patient but I just need to hear something!!

I am starting in Fall 2013 at the San Diego campus. I spoke with Renee and got a small tour of the SIM lab and the classrooms. Everything looks awesome and I am very excited to start! Can you give us some advice on which textbooks we should get and if they can be purchased online (any good websites you recommend?) Thank you for all your help!

I was wondering if anyone else got accepted into the San Diego campus for Fall 2013? I was unable to find a facebook group. If anyone knows about a facebook group for San Diego Fall 2013 please let me know :) Thank you!

I am currently an APU ELM student at the San Diego campus and am happy to answer any of your questions (to the best of my ability!). I am just about finished with my first semester (it's currently finals week for us), so I may not be able to answer questions about life further on in the program.

Hello irisbdo!

You're very welcome and congrats! I would definitely advise against getting the book bundle that they offer. I made that mistake, and I honestly did not use a lot of the books that were included, and still had to buy additional books. Most of my classmates and I found that we hardly used the pharmacology text. Personally, I'm not a big text book person, so I really didn't use all of them.

I would recommend using either Amazon or Half.com for purchasing textbooks. If it's possible, try to find students in the semesters ahead of you for books, it will save you money and help out your fellow SD students ;) Good luck! And I'm sure I'll see you in the fall since 3rd semester students mentor 1st semester students!

I am accepted in fall 2013 ELM.. so you guys have any idea when will classes start in september? I mean the exact date. I got the orientation letter which is on 27 august 2013
