Nursing Students Post Graduate

Published

Hey :)

I submitted my application to USI a month ago and have not heard anything. This is for the FNP program, applying for this fall. Is this normal? What should I expect from here??

Thanks

I applied also, I followed up with them in late Janurary. They were great, wanted to make sure all(4) of my trasncripts had gotten there!! They hadn't I guess due to the snow in the midwest. I missed the cut off for one lousy transcript, so this week I requested the school to send it again. I suggest you email graduate admissions.

I called graduate admissions...file is complete...deemed "eligible".....letters will go out between March 7-11th....so i guess i just have to wait:rolleyes:...i am also applying to frontier. That app will go out later this week.

TonieRn,

I called I am eligible also, found my transcript somewhere. I hope we r in. They said there is no cap of students they can take. " they try to take as many as they can". Fingers crossed.

I have applied to USI as well. It's definitely my first choice, but I've also applied to UND. I hate this waiting!

Frustrated. I got an acceptance letter, but was placed into a part-time 4 year program starting Spring 2012. No option to move through faster, or start in fall.

Hi, pls did they give a reason for the part time 4yr program? i mean....thought you could choose whether u can do it 3 or 4yrs.

Also, is there a GPA cut off? Thanx

They said they had a Lot of apps. I didn't get to choose they put me in the 4 year. But they took 9 of my credits and knocked me down to the 3 yr program.

Like PP said, there was no choice. It didn't really matter what you chose on your app. :/

Canchaser,

I was just accepted into the 4 year p/t program starting Spring 2013. I plan to take a two courses over the summer to lessen my load when I get in. Can you share with me which classes you transferred in? I have an MPH degree, and I was hoping to transfer in at least one research class. Do you know if the classes transferred in have to be less than 5 years ago?

Thanks
