Anyone know about Maryville's FNP program?

I am writing to see if anyone has attended or heard good things about Maryville University's FNP program? They are starting a new online FNP program next year, but am kind of leery because I am not able to find much about the program. Also, does anyone know where I might find FNP certification pass rates per university?

I will be working full time near my home in Michigan while doing this program. Its only one class at a time initially so I think we all should be fine!

This is the only semester where we take 1 class at a time because next semester (Spring 2013) we have to take 2 at a time and then over the summer months it's back to 1 class at a time over 8 weeks time,I believe it is. Then in the fall it's back to 2 classes at a time along with the clinical component.......I do not see how any of us can hold down a full time job and meet academic obligations at the same time especially starting Spring 2013 onward.....

Hey how do I get an invite to the Facebook group?

On Facebook, look for the Maryville University FNP Distance Program Class of 2014 and ask for an invite.

Thanks !! I sent an invite !!!

They accepted 2 of your 600 classes what were they is you don't mind me asking because they only accepted my theory class i got an A in theory and a B in Legal/ Ethics

They accepted a theory and a research class which are the first two classes of the program, so that's why I'm not starting until January.

I am looking into the FNP program at Maryville and was wondering what everyones experience has been with them so far. I am looking at starting Fall 2013.

Waiiiitttt... So what is the total price for the FNP progam? 34,000? or is it really 44,000? Where did the extra 10,000 come from?

Well I don't know about the price increase except the financial Aid office states that it's due to the fact that the longer we're in school the more it costs which just doesn't seem right either because it should cost what they tell you....

What has your courses at Maryville (FNP) been like so far? Any details?

We're just doing a theory class. Its time consuming and tedious but not hard and I like the format and the website etc. I have a good teacher though!
