It worked Just wanted to be clear in case anyone else knows anything about it, but apparently they don't... It's appealing to me for their distance MSN program, but it is costly so I would like to hear if anyone has some first hand experience with it... Oh well. The private colleges are always so expensive, but the program looks really good and the staff seem really good and the classes are really small and I could fulfill a sick fantasy of wearing a cap and gown in Vermont one fall day.... OK, so that part is a little wierd...

Their website confused me a little. It's an MSN program..Straight MSN? Not an NP program? What would you specilaize in?

I'm very confused. I've just always seen MSN programs with a speciality involved. MSN in Healthcare Administration..HMMMM

But then again it's Vermont.. That might explain it..Well at least from a Maniah's POV...LOL

It's an MSN program with a focus in nursing administration. There are actually a lot of them around. I have no interest in becoming an NP at all (not that many job opportunities in my specialty and not very portable for me when I go back to Canada). They prepare their students to work as educators or managers mainly. None of my nursing instructors or managers have ever been advanced practice nurses and I don't currently work with any NPs, so most I know have had a generic MSN. I've been considering getting an MSN with a specialty in education, but that does pigeon hole you more.

So does Maine have any interesting programs?
