Hi,
I'm applying to Columbia's BS/MS ETP program. I've chosen Acute care as my speciality because I think my skills are best used in a challenging setting. However, had Columbia decided to throw in a gerontological option, that is what I'd choose ideally. So my question is this: how could I segway into gerontological nursing best? Is Acute care an OK way to do it? Or is Adult nurse the better option? Or is there *no* great big huge brilliant answer to what best leads to gerontological nursing?
I'm a big newb about nursing and if you notice, I've scattered my queries around the board in a frenzy *embarrassed smile.* Any advice would be appreciated
Best,
-
