Hi Everyone! This topic thread is for those applying to UPENN BSN/MSN program summer 2013. I hope we can create a support network here!

I will be applying to the nurse-midwifery and WHNP program and have begun writing my personal statement. Their application should be completely available July 15th but you should be able to create an account. Good luck everyone!

I can't log in either and I know my password and username are correct because they work in Penn Portal- I would just double check by making sure you can sign into Penn Portal. I guess it will only allow us to sign in when Tuesday at 3:00 comes. #terrified

okay. good. I can sign onto Penn Portal too. So I guess that means I'm good. I've decided to have a bottle of champagne ready in an effort to convince myself of my own optimism. But really, I'm terrified too.

Hahaha I have sincerely debated opening the decision website on Tuesday with a celebratory bottle of champagne on my right and a pity-party of tequila and chocolate cake on my left. That way, no matter what, I will have a lovely Tuesday evening.

haha @fingerscross'd that sounds like a good win-win plan.

@hollysf penn and ucsf are tied for #1. not sure what i'd do if i was stuck in that situation...

and good to know i wasn't the only one who couldn't log into the website.

7 bedroom 3 bathroom amazing house

Totally fantasizing over cheap beautiful west philly housing...

All I want is a beautiful kitchen in which I can make veggie meals, a living room in which I may host, a small garden and a nice bathroom in a liberal city. This is too much to ask for the most part though ha.

If anyone wants to include their non-academic fantasies to help pass the days I would enjoy reading it. If this is weird or annoying, please feel free to dismiss it :-)

A kitchen with a big island with plenty of windows! It'll be cool if we could rent a house with a bunch of nursing students. lol

I intend on doing that. I want to share the lame-r texts, study materials and resources for sure. I am all about collaboration

Who needs a man when you have a great house, life, friends, food and education? You have so much going for you already hopeful--don't let a relationship be your focus!

I am also recently out of a long term relationship, so I apologize for the knee jerk reaction ha

I want a nice cozy kitchen where I can display my awesome stand mixer and bake for you guys during stressful exam weeks. And a cute apt where I can host study parties and reminisce about our crazy obsessive days on all nurses haha. And a puppy that I can go home to and hug every day. That's not too much to ask for right?...right?...
