Hey guys!

I only applied to the ABSN program since I'm unsure of a specialty and I'm wondering whether anyone has heard about interviews yet for just the BSN?

Thanks and good luck everyone!

For those who have interviews on the 7th, I would love to meet and have dinner with all of you the night prior! If anyone is interested, please let me know, along with your food preference(s). Maybe we can all come to a consensus on where to go. I'm so excited! It's only 3 weeks away! ahhh!

YAY! Congrats Hopeful and PNPhopeful :) So glad that you got your interviews! I was planning to go business casual/formal, but prob more on the formal side. I think with these interviews, it's always best to be over dressed than under. I'm going shopping today in San Francisco for a skirt/blazer combo, I'm hoping this won't cost me an arm or leg like the flights I booked =\

Salinn: did you apply to the midwifery specialty? I am flying in on Sunday afternoon and will be staying for two nights at my friend's apt (she a medical student at Temple Univ). Using googlemaps, I saw her place is less than 10 miles away and I can easily take the bus/shuttle system (it predicts the ride is 20-30 minutes). This saves SO MUCH money. Just means I have to wake up extra early to be careful I'm not late! Do you want to meet up? :) I hope we find others who are also opting for the in-person interview on Dec 10th. I'm really curious how many interviews they are conducting in-person if so-calledly 75% are interviewed. Even if a good amount of people choose the phone interview, that's still a lot of in-person interviews to conduct in only 2 separate days for a pool of over 600 applicants.

I'm opting for the in-person interview on Dec. 10th.

Do any current students know if it's safe to walk from 30th Street Station to the campus? I'm taking a train from Lancaster, PA. Don't know if walking is OK or if I should catch a cab.

I believe you can take a connecting train from 30th to the campus. It's the train to Elwyn and I think it's the second stop, so it should be less than 5$. I'll try and check for you though.

kdiem: Yes I applied to the Midwifery specialty. I think you and I have applied to a couple of the same schools based on some of the other posts I've seen on here. I can't quite figure out this whole private messaging thing, so if you want to exchange some more info via email about meeting up, please feel free to email me at [email protected].

I'm really curious to know how many people they are going to accept into each program. Not knowing is driving me crazy! At least at most of the other schools I'm applying to I can gauge how many spots are available for midwives.

ashley_nicole - I went on the SEPTA website and it looks like I could take the Market-Frankford Line from 30th and get off on 34th. Does that sound about right?

Go with 34th and market. That is the easier way to take.

Kdiem - I tried to reply to your PM but it won't let me because I don't have an Advanced account or something of the sort...
