Working as an ambulance nurse

by rongie

Anyone who has an idea of how it's like to be an ambulance nurse (in Metro Manila), and/or how much is the pay?

There is no ambulance nurse in the USA. There are nurses who are EMTS and Paramedics but there is no special license for an ambulance nurse.

having an EMT certification is an advantage.. there are jobs like this in Metro Manila, but same with the hospital setting, most companies are also into the "volunteer-trainee" thing. in some companies, you can be deployed in hospitals doing patient transport (hospital-hospital,responding to house calls), EMS (on highways), standby during concerts, social gatherings/events,sports event etc. and some companies even have their fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft for airlifting to far areas within the Philippines and in some cases abroad.
