hi I'm a newly graduate and a local board passer here in the Philippines..... I'm having difficulties looking a job here in our country, i almost spent my savings applying to any hospital i know, but still there is no single ring i heard to my telephone...huhuhu =( can any one help me to my problem in looking a job here so that i can have a good experience in a hospitals????

your not alone man. almost all of us local nurses cant find a job. just keep on trying.

Actually, you are not alone. I can't find a job, too. We should be patient and think positive. What I'm doing now is a volunteer work and training. Some hospitals hired their trainees after training. I know sooner we can find job. just keep on looking. Be patient and pray.

same here.....pm me if u know hospital that hires nurses immediately, im tired of waiting and waiting....is there some one here who works in dubai or planning to go to dubai(concrete/in process) without any experiences here or little experience..im planning to work in dubai, you gain knowledge there and at the same time your earning big bucks.

The truth is, there are jobs for us nurses here. Its just that, they can't afford to pay us. 2nd, nowadays, some hospital screens their applicants very well that it takes time for them to choose who should they hire. Due to increase production of nurses, passing the board exam doesn't guarantee that they'll give high quality service...

I'm currently employed and I hope lots of nurses will find a good job too. Dont lose hope! Just pass your resume' in any hospital. If you could apply to all the hospitals you can find, the better! At least you have lots of alternatives...

Same situation here, still jobless... I'm also tired of waiting after allotting 7 months of job hunting and waiting for a response... I even wanted to apply as a staff nurse in Egypt after reading classified ads every Sunday because they also hire fresh graduates with license... if your planning to work in Dubai, as a nurse, you have to have at least 2 years work experience and/or at least had taken the MOH exam there... but I have a friend who's planning to work there and she said that her cousin there is submitting her resume to some hospitals there whenever her cousin see's hiring options in the newspapers there...

me too,its just so difficult to apply.I thought that once you passed the board exam,finding a nursing job will be easy,but look at as now.some hospitals are not hiring since no one has resigned. :'(

Oh yes it is really so hard to find a job here even as a volunteer, i look and followed up my application but they still say same "PLEASE WITH OUR CALL AFTER SCREENING YOUR PAPERS" grrrrrr I'm so mad whenever they say that to me
