hi!..i took the december NLE and the exam focused mainly on community nursing and psychiatric nursing and the format of the exam was the promotive, curative etc type...and i think this wont be true for the june NLE..i've heard from dr.letty kuan, member of the BON, during our oathtaking last january that the the format will be like: Test1-pediatric nursing, test11-psych nursing and so forth..so i think u really have to study all these areas.... the DOH Community Nursing book will be helpful for you Community Nursing Review..hope these will help...

gracediwa, thanks for the reply on my inquiries. i am forever indebted. i am just wondering, where did you got the information regarding the concepts to be included in the NLE this year? if you don't mind. but i would understand if it is not fine with you. did you mean that most of the concepts to be tackled are to be taken from the DOH book and that of Maglaya's? thanks for the reply...

i got the info's here and there hahaha. are you currently enrolled in a revw center? that's actually the advantage, you get to have the little tips. i just hope none of the review center owners' checkin this thread or else... im dead.

community will always be incorporated in our local board. remember our nursing revolves care for the IFC.

and also due to doctors taking up nursing, i heard that they will devise a way to make it hard for the doctors. they probably won't use brunner'sudarth for this one, instead they'll focus on MS that is incorporated in the community.

I am not familiar with maglaya, what I know is they'll use DOH, care for the elder by Letty Kuan, Ethics by Reyala and other filipino authored books.

There's more topics to be included.. I'll share it to you when I get it. But the problem is, they only announced it a week before the exam.

you should also research on a speech made by letty kuan in baguio city. i think review centers distributes them days before the exam..i read the speech a day after the exam and many questions were based from the speech.. i took the NLE last December by the way..they can always change their questions especially now that the board exam has a different format...God bless on all who will be taking the exam..
