Updated May 07, 2006 at 07:55 AM by princess_master14

Hi, I'm an accounting major graduate. I'm 47 years old, married to an american citizen, living at brgy. bagong silangan.

Right now I'm planning to enter a nursing school that has an affliation with with Veterans Memorial Hospital(you know the hospital where erap was incarcerated) or I stand corrected on this matter.

Please tell me which school is best suited for me, I have a projected budget of 25k php per sem. preferably one which is in qc.

please help me, I'm at a loss to what-where school I'll be enrolling at.

please help anyone ^_^.

Welcome to both of us here in the forums.

I cant say which one is the best but I can try and help you look for one that is suited to you. Some schools dont accept second coursers. While others will, they will not credit your GE subjects taken in your 1st course. Others will take you in wholeheartedly of course.

Will you be studying full time? You may also want to look at the schedule they are offering.

There are a lot of school affiliated with VMMC. I cant name all of them.

for the 2 years, the 25K will be enough for some schools. It will definitely go up in you last year.

Lanting college located at tandang sora caters to people of all ages. I'm not jus sure if the allied class has an affiliation with veterans college. anyway here's the number if you want to inquire about nursing..938-7782 and 89. it will connect you to any department.

Stick to universities with indisputable reputation like UP-Manila, UST, UERM and the like.

the universities mentioned are admittedly very good nursing schools, but they do not accept 2nd coursers and students beyond 30 years old. the one asking the question is an accounting graduate and more than 40 years old and prefers to go on duty at the veterans memorial hospital. it seems the advice is misplaced here as it applies to younger people. anyway, thanks for the input. let's keep sharing info.

Hi gracediwa. Hope you don't mind my asking. I'm just having a hard time calling these numbers posted. How long did you finish nursing at lanting? Considering im an information technology graduate, how long will i finish nursing? Do they hold classes everyday? thanks.

Hi pastana, sorry for the late response, kinda busy with my local review. Im a business management grad. I enrolled at Lanting 2003, graduated this march 2006. So about 3 years and 2 summers. During my time, even if you're a 2nd courser that is not of a medical background, you're mixed with the regular, like my case. Now, those 2nd coursers can take nursing for 2.5 years or less. Not really sure. It's really hard to call them especially now that a lot of us newly grads are cramming to get our documents from the school. Yeah they held classes everyday. Sa graduating, less na. More of duties and finishing cases.

I heard a grad of accounting, engineering, psychology were accepted sa allied. Try to visit the school although the program for the allied had started na.
