i'm one of the nursing graduates who took the board exam last june 2008. and now there are a lot of rumors about the passing rate of the exam. some even say that only 30% pass and that july 20 is the day when the results will be released. of course none of them are true so far but rumors like this increases my anxiety level and its so frustrating because you can't do anything but wait. helpful tips anyone? thanks.

hi lobes. i know how you feel I'm also waiting for the results of the board exam. i know it can be frustrating on our part since it's now out of our hands but all we can really do now is wait. so just be patient and always pray. i hope this helps. good luck.

hi to you...i know how it feels waiting for long period of the results..if i were you dnt believe in any hearsay that is not credible it will just make you more anxious and the more stress..just be positive and pray! good luck!

hi lobes i now how you feel! the waiting game is so depressing. Some people take advantage of you like spreading rumors around. I took the board exam too last year (june 2007) and have waited for 3 months for the results to get released.

Dont wait for the results just busy yourself with something else.

I have a tip for all those nursing students who are waiting for the results.

1. take time to read the threads here to get a BIGGER picture of the nursing industry both locally and internationally

2. Don't get tempted and work somewhere else outside the realm of nursing

3. If you plan to go abroad, this is the best time to do some research

I am also waiting though working part time to keep my self busy and earn for myself since I don't have allowance anymore. Good luck to all who took the exam!

Last Dec. 2007, the same rumor spread around- only 30% passed the exam. Result came out. 48%.
Pray. Don't believe everything you hear. Keep your fingers crossed. You'll get through it. Good luck!!!

hi l0bes. im feeling the same way. i dont know how to deal with my anxiety anymore. how did you find the exam? i had a hard time answering test 4.

Hello everyone. I'm also one of the thousands who took the June 2008 Nurse Licensure Examination. It's been a month and a half since we took that exam. I share your anxieties and worries, I even get to dream about the NLE every now and then, but its all out of our hands right now. All we can do is to hope and to pray. God bless us all!

Ignore those rumors! keep yourself busy, relax and enjoy while waiting. and most of all, PRAY! I just know how it feels to wait.Been there twice hehe '06 and '07... Good luck

I took my boards in Manila on June 8-9, 1990 and results were released April of 1991. Thats a lot of waiting......
