volunteer or training?

by prongs

Hi guys, which do you think is much more helpful in our nursing career: volunteering as a nurse or attending trainings like those of NKTI and Lung Center? I'm trying to decide whether to go back to our province and volunteer as a nurse or attend trainings here in Metro manila like those offered by NKTI and Lung center. I heard that volunteering would not count as a nursing experience. Is that the same thing with trainings offered by other hospitals?

I'd go for training if I were you. Volunteer work is not considered an RN experience by most countries nowadays. You receive formal education in trainings although it is for a fee. If it is possible get hired in any nursing field. At least it is a paid RN job, which will be considered as an experience abroad.
