Re: US immigrant to study back in the Philippines

Also, please be aware that you will need to get the four year BSN as that is the only degree that is recognized for licensure there, and that is the requirement for licensure here as well. if you train in PI. And that the programs there are now adding in a 5th year, you need to seriously consider going to school in the US, perhaps in another location but it will be easier for you all the way around.
Also be aware that as an immigrant to the US, and still a citizen of the Philippines, if the state that you wish to work in requires the local license first, you will be required to complete that. Having a green card does not take away any of the requirements. Your licensure requirements will always be that of a foreign grad, that depends on where you went to school, not immigration status.
