Training center for BLS and IVT

by yehs14

Hello!

I am a RN from the Philippines. I am planning to work here in Philippines before I migrate to Vegas.

Is is true that Operation Smile Philippines is the only organization in the Philippines authorized by the American Heart Association to offer classes in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support or Pediatric Advance Life Support in the Philippines?

What about the Philippine National Red Cross?

I also searched the internet and found the website of American Safety & Health Institute... They have training centers in the Philippines.

Is it best for me to attend these centers rather than attend the trainings offered by the PNRC?

Can anyone tell me how much are the trainings in PNRC? Thanks!!!

Please help.

At PNRC, the training worth 1,600 pesos, that is for BLS and SFA. But I suggest to take BLS only so that the processing of the license will take a short time. The price for that is less than a thousand.

Contact the American Heart Association in the US with your questions. That's the best place to obtain your answers. You might also want to contact a local chapter there in Nevada since that's your destination. Good Luck
