As I answered in your pm, neither one of those will get you a visa to work in another country. Previous schooling, if it cannot apply to your degree, does not make any difference.
Such as if you have a PhD in Math, you will be able to get a second courser degree which is two years and will get the BSN, but it will not take any other time off of your degree.
There is a big difference between the two in terms of legal responsibility, etc.
