Thanks nurseharbee.... what experience they are requiring? hospital or can it be working as a nurse lecturer and clinical instructor? are you from cebu? how was your experience then in SWC school?

They dont require any hospital experience, that is the reason why i was accepted. I am from Davao, but now in Makati, but soon to be relocated in Cebu.Im still about to start my schooling with them

Yes, having a 1 year hospital experience is a must. Try southwestern in cebu

In what level is their accreditation?
Why am I asking this? When i attended a nursing seminar a couple of months ago.. I overheard the person seated beside me talking to the other one, telling that it is good to have a post-grad studies if the university has a Level 3 accreditation,because accdg. to that person if one is planning to work abroad, then that's recognized outside..

What do you mean Level of Accreditation? are you asking for the entire university's accreditation status? If that's it, Southwestern is due for re accreditation, currently the university has Level II status. Actually according to my professor in the Graduate school, our curriculum for graduate studies in the Philippines is far different from other developed countries, that is the reason why some University's and Schools outside ASIA does not recognize the Graduate degree's not taken in the 1st world countries.

I have a teacher in college she finished her MAREXA (master of arts in research,extension and Administration) in a Level III accredited nursing school in the Visayas and she acquired her MAN at the Ateneo de Davao. She is now working in the US, she told me her Master's degree was not yet verified thats why she can't use her titles there.

I'm not sure if we have "TRUE" online programs here, but from the looks of it, we still have a long way to go...I don't think it's going to be implemented here in the near future...We are way behind the USA in almost all aspects, including distance/online learning...

Probably these schools are not 100% online, we don't have that capability yet. Why get in the the Philippines when you can get it elsewhere, especially in the USA?
