I don't think that rumor's true, originally I was supposed to take it on Sept. 3 but I still didn't have my passport so I rescheduled it on Oct. 2. Just contact their call center for your intended schedule and if it's not available they'll recommend another date closest to what you requested.

It isn't true. The rumor has been started because nurses cannot get scheduled on their preferred times but neglect to note that there are plenty of other times where slots are still available.

Slots do fill up quickly though so if you are trying to schedule your exam for only two weeks from the exam date you may have a hard time. The recommendation is to plan one month in advance to have a greater chance of getting the schedule you want.
