The news have dragged me and my fellow passers into a lot - frustration, anger, humiliation, everything! It's really tiring... But God turned these things around, He made something new out of this mess---a new me, a better me. Through kind people like you, I'm up on my feet again. Just this week, I surrendered my PRC license and filed for a new set of exam. I'm set to reviewing again..:roll

To those December 2006 NLE passers, any reference book/s that you can recommend that helped you a lot in your review?

God's grace be with you!

oh no! im planning to waive my license too but when i visited the prc office here in our province (legazpi city) last thursday March 15, they didn't allow me to file for the june07 locals.. i asserted and told them that i will waive my license and register to take a new set of exams this june07 but still they told me to wait until the guidelines be released...now with DOLE's stand of retake of tests 3 & 5 on the lime light, i'm again torn and confused with what to do.

im worried that maybe the deadline of filing for voluntary retakers of the entire exam has already passed and that maybe i will not be allowed to file for the june07 locals anymore... help with what to do? sigh...

i'll visit PRC office first thing in the morning on monday and tell them that some june06 passers have waived their licenses and were able to file for the june07 locals...

i know the right thing to do is to take a new set of exam and move on. you guys here, give me a lot of encouragement and i thank you all for that. i just pray that everything will fall in its place and we will all be happy with the results of every endeavor we overcome.

btw, for june06 passers who waived their licenses and are preparing for the june07 locals, may i know the procedures/reqts that are needed if i will surrender my license and take a new set of exam?
any reference material you recommend?

thank you so much! God bless us all!

Hi prinsesa,

It is strange to hear that PRC Legaspi is restricting your right. You don't have to worry about the deadline. We are not covered by the March 15 deadline for the repeaters. Our case is different.

I registered in PRC Manila last Friday. The procedure is like this:
1) Secure an Action Sheet, fill it up.
2) Submit it to Processing Window, you'll be given a Verification Slip. There you will choose between taking 3 & 5 and taking all.
3) Go to the Legal Department, execute a Waiver.
4) Submit the notarized Waiver to Window 17 and surrender your license and original board rating or certificate.
5) Go back to Processing with the usual requirements (TOR, NSO Birth Certificate, 4pcs passport sized pics, cedula) and then you'll be given the NOA, scantron and PERRC that you must complete. Pay for the P900 exam fee.
6) Final step is the issuance of signed NOA.

Actually, the PRC staff had been cordial and friendly to me when I filed my registration. They would immediately call me to the Window so I wouldn't wait in the long line, like I was a VIP. I think that they owe us that extra attention because we're now suffering due to their lapses.

To ladyrn and demetrixarch, thank you and congratulations! Yes, all for the glory of Christ Jesus!

PRC-Legazpi should receive the guidelines today accdg to PRC-Manila Applications Division staff (+632-3140027). You can register after this. No deadline specified at the moment. Bebe13 is right. You are not included in the March 15 deadline.

Thanks for the info!

Follow up question: How about the other requirements such as RLE and the like that were required on our original exam? Are they still required?

Take care.

The other docs (RLE and Cases Summary) were no longer required of me when I registered. However, I suggest you bring them for ready reference, just in case they ask for it.

God bless!

Hi, star13 ! During our time, for Community, we mastered the relevant topics in the CHNS book by the DOH (the yellow and green book).

Wishing you the best in the NLE/NCLEX!
