Seminars & Trainings and your chances of being hired?

by arger

Is it easier to find a job if you have lots of seminar certificates or training experiences?

Yes it's important but everyone is doing it (BLS,ACLS,IV training) and post graduate trainings.I think having a "backer" when you apply
is more important.

i Think having a backer is quite unfair for others but that is how reality works.

So sad for that..

yes, its true, but sometimes you need to choose trainings or seminars because some are opportunistic, they just make money out of this situation... what i mean is that some trainings or seminars are over pricing, hrr... so just them.. ok

... and the saddest part nowadays is for the applicant to pay a huge sum of money for the training. I hope it will not come to a point wherein nurses have to bid just to be included in the roster of employees...aaww, that would be the most dreadful thing for us nurses, especially to those deserving yet short to financial resources. Government officials should look into this matter more deeply, rather than those trivial things.
