Does anyone know when will the SRO delegates conduct interviews again? There are no contact numbers in the POEA website, looked up contact numbers in the net but they are completely useless..I guess they changed their numbers.. I e-mailed them but I don't know when or if I will recieve a reply..

hi again to all followers of this thread..an agency personnel called me today offering me a job in a military hospital in KSA as a nursing assistant because i don't have any hopital experience yet. i was offered 1200 riyals(approximately 14,000 pesos) as salary. what do you think?should i accept it or not? since there is no chance of being hired here in the philippines but to be just a volunteer nurse. i need your inputs on this. TIA!

what's the name of the agency? coz i also just received an SMS from one agency form Malate instructing me to visit them tomorrow for an interview. the position was not mentioned, but it was stated that it is in KSA. i don't remember applying to that agency before. that's low, i was offered once 2.5k despite of having no previous hosp exp. the position was Nurse-EMT and the real offer is 3k if with 2yr working xp.

P14,000 is very low compared to the offered contract from MOH- ranging from P20,000 - P35,000. I am planning to wait until next year for MOH-SRO to hire inexperienced nurses again. But it is actually up to you... There are times that I feel I can't wait anymore. I'd like to work as a nurse ASAP. Try to backtrack the advised given to me by Miztahcool on this forum. Cost of living there, accdg to him, is quite high, usually employers offer subsidy for lodgings but how about the food. Its actually up to you, if money is not a problem.. Then why not.. Instead of wasting time here waiting.. why not spend it productively by working as a nurse abroad. But there are agencies offering a nurse position w/ 1,400 - 1,600 SR salary for inexperienced nurses. However, you have to be careful because i have to make alibis to withdraw my passport from them since I learned from POEA website that these agencies don't have job offers for nurses. So i'm not sure if the job I am landing is legal. Good luck to us all!

thank you to all those who gave their inputs on my query about the nursing assistant offer. i'm sorry for the late reply because i only got home last night coming from manila.

@ medic28: the name of the agency is mega manpower corporation, something. they called me and then emailed me the requirements. but since i was having second thoughts about it i did not pursue with it anymore because i was checking their website and nothing was posted there about the job they were offering me and i was afraid that they might place me in housekeeping because they have a lot of openings for it. LOL!

@ ciara: thanks for the reply! ☺ i did not pursue with the nursing assistant offer anymore. maybe i will just also wait for the MOH-SRO and while waitng i'll be volunteering here in the province.
