I never heard of Al Zayed or Oasis Hospital in Riyadh probably because they're pretty small institutions and not well known. Oasis is a small polyclinic in Riyadh, according to my friend who is working in Riyadh right now. However, both those hospitals can be found in UAE.

Check how much they're offering as it can be a little bit annoying once you are here and then they'll force you to sign another contract with lesser pay. A lot of nurses were dismayed when they found themselves facing heaps of problems because their employer refuses to honor the contract originally signed in the Philippines.

Thank you very much for that information. I just had my interview with the employer from Oasis. Since I only have 1 1/2 years of experience in a clinic , they said that I'm not qualified for a staff nurse position so they offered me a nurse assistant position which I declined. While waiting in line before me she had 2 years hospital experience also offered the same position as nurse assistant with a salary of 1600 riyals. I was like what are these guys up to? Now that I've found out that it's not a hospital... Thank God and thanks for your help. Perhaps it would be better to apply directly in POEA.

hello! Just a piece of advice to all those who are interested to work in Saudi Arabia, I sincerely believe that it will be better if you apply directly to POEA because most of the agencies recruit nurses for private hospitals. Many of these private hospitals offer smaller salary packages and longer contract which could be a minimum of 3yrs. I once worked there in a private hospital while I was with my family using a dependent visa. I met friends who were recruited by agencies and sadly, most of the packages that were promised to them while they are in the Philippiines were not realized when they reached Saudi Arabia. So just be very skeptical about the contract and the packages they are offering. God Bless!

I know those who will be leaving on Sept are those who were interviewed last March-April. MOH really had a mass-hiring back then...
