Hi ,working in a Saudi MOH hospital was good for me.It is lonely but at least you get to go home every 11 mos and it is a paid holiday. Most of the MOH hospital have many Filipino nurses so you'll get a lot of support.I learned a lot there and it was in saudi that I realized i wanted to become a CCU nurse. So I am a cardiac nurse now working in UK.
Go to POEA window S or T that was where I went.Everything is paid by the Saudi government.

The best thing to do is visit POEA and approach one of the windows on the left side upon entering the premises.(unless they changed offices) You may want to inquire abt your interest to apply as a nurse in ksa. They are very helpful. They would give you a list of requirements to accomplish and would require you to submit two sets of the said requirements in a chronological order( I mean according to the list). That would include your resume with job descriptions,OTR,Trainings, college and high school diploma, sets of 2x2 pictures. (But please refer to the list they would give you)
KSa could be a good training ground with pay rather than serving as a volunteer nurse in the phils ( this is just a personal opinion).

Looks like the benefits are good! sounds interesting...
i would like to apply too...

But how about the safety and security of our nurses there in KSA?
anyone who can share about their experience working there??

just want to know and also for the benefit of the few..

cause when considering a good job.. i think job security and safety of the place is also included...

thanks!

Nurses are safe in saudi arabia. The nurses villa usually is well guarded and there are companies that would only allow the nurses go shopping at a certain days in a week ,shopping bus is provided and there are also that would allow nurses to take a cab on their own. Always have someone with you ( and it means not an opposite sex unless he is your spouse) when you go out shopping and dressing up conservatively in the public places would help too. When you are together with your spouse, always keep with you your marriage certificate authenticated by the saudi embassy in the philippines. Alkhobar is a little bit free to socialize with the opposite sex friends however, caution is still advised.
Im sure there would be some nurses here that could share more.

Hi! I just went to POEA last Wednesday and the man on Window M gave me list of requirements for MOH-KSA, I told him that I don't have any work experience since I'm a new board passer, he said it's ok. The employer will evaluate your application requirements and they will give you a call according to him. I'm still having second thoughts of pursing my application with this company. Though I heard good feedbacks from MOH. I'll just pray for it.

As far as I know you would not know where you would be assigned until you reached the kingdom.
As for salary, MOH probably has a certain starting salary range for new graduates and it increases as you renew each contract.
