recommended review center in Baguio/Manila

Hello! I am new here and i really need your help. I want to know what review centers in Manila or Baguio do you recommend? (Baguio is my 1st choice). But i have 2 review centers in mind -- KAPLAN and GAPUZ. My problem is that kaplan has a very long course review and i will have very few time to study other references/books/CDs. Whereas if i review in Gapuz, I can have more time for other references. But i need your opinions please... thanks so much!

Personally I would save your money and just use the NCLEX forum here and Saunders 4th Edition

I have the same dilemma. I have the 3rd edition. But, I'm still studying that because I think it will be too expensive to buy the 4th edition. I will just have to do more practice tests to update me on the current pattern on the nclex.

so true! i was also having doubts whether to buy the saunders 4th edition, since some of the threads mentioned that it doesn't have a lot of difference with the 3rd edition.. they even made a comparative notes about it.. hahaha..

still, i decided to buy the book about 3 weeks ago..

its quite expensive, compared to my 3rd edition (low price edition) - P800.. the 4th edition is around P2,300.. but i enjoy reading it.. the glossy white paper makes a good contrast with the black caption (easy to read), pictures are colorful and there are also some charts and graphs.. i'm a visual learner, that's why i find those details very helpful..

suzanne also mentioned that the difference is in the content of the CD that comes with the book.

try suzanne's plan, tip # 1.. i was amazed with the strategy (even with just the first tip.. )

hi! good to hear members from baguio! well, i enrolled at Kaplan, Baguio City just last Aug 20 but only went to the center to review for 4-5 days because of the many holidays we had! haha! But so far, so good! I like the ambiance, it's just that you really have to have that drive to study because it's basically, on the 1st 1-2 months especially, a self-study!

To those reviewing in Kaplan Baguio, see you there!

Oh, thanks mriane and cellardoor for the recommendations!

chillout, i have both the 3rd and 4th edition and i'll try to incorporate suzanne's tip with my kaplan (during free time) and let's see if it will work
