Reasons why nurses fail medical exams..

Hi! I'm a nurse from the Philippines and i want to work in the US. My concern is I have mild scoliosis. Is this going to affect my prospect of getting hired in the US? Also, what are the usual reasons nurses fail medical exams? Thanks.

Does your scolio ever interferes with your job as an RN? or daily activities at all? If not, I don't see why you can't pass your medical. take care of your health, don't smoke, drink, or stay up late. think happy thoughts...that will do you good ;-) goodluck!

Dude...it's totally up to you, lol. I won't recommend it if you are close to your medical exams/check ups for U.S. embassy interview. you want to have a clean bill of health, right? study says..people who don't have enough rest or sleep, tend to get sick easily...you're a nurse, Im sure you knew that :-)

I do stay up late too, but not all the time!

Well, no. It isn't that bad. Thanks so much, RNHawaii34! That makes me feel so much better.

If you have no restrictions with working now, then it should not be an issue.
