Rachell Allen Review Center: Is This A Reputable Nursing Review Center?

Hello! Anyone here who has reviewed NCLEX at Rachell Allen Review Center? Is it really as good as it claims? Which is better Rachell Allen or Kaplan? Hope to get responses from you. Thank you, Nurses!

There is a new NCLEX review center in malate, called USGC, I heard they have an integrated & unlimited review. I've passed the NCLEX already but my colleagues are reviewing w/ them now

many of my friends says that the tuition fee is expensive and some lecturers are boring in the sense that they are traditional lecturer who are very serious that students become bored in the latter part of the day. but i will give them the benefit of the doubt because i never reviewed there. but what i know is that they have one of the most expensive tuition fee and the one of the most shortest length of review. its like you are paying them 1000 per day...

Sorry I do not know anything about either, what I do know is that in learning the student is the major key. No study no learning.

Universities can accurately predict the expected outcome by the number of hours a student puts into their studies and the method they use. spoon fed answers will not help you to learn.

So it better to ask can i put in the effort with support and achjive the result I am after. If you can mkake the committment then you are more thatn 75% there.

For me, i'd say it's a waste of time and money. I paid i think 24 thousand pesos for the 25 days review that they were offering. Almost all of our classmates were so frustrated with their system, and we felt we were ripped off with their fancy ad. Their lecturers were ok, most of them are doctors, we were bored to death and there's this one lecturer who was super boring and just reads the entire book to us and didnt explain well the rationales. In our batch, we felt that this center should concentrate more on the live lectures and not on the video lectures itself. They have an online review MedsPub but the problem is the slow upload and low tech computers that frequently hangs and you have to repeat the 100 questions all over again.

For me, i felt my 24 thousand pesos just went to their unlimited free coffee and I could benefit more in just reading the Saunders book

My friend used to review from this review center and unfortunately, she failed.

A review center is i think is necessary if you want to pass the NLE but a review center for NCLEX? i don't think so. If you want to pass the NCLEX, follow suzanne's plan. or do practice questions daily.

Remember, even the "best" review center has students that fail the NCLEX, lesson: it's all up to you if you want to fail or not.

good luck, also there is a thread here started by nursemich about NCLEX passers without the aid of a review center. better check it.

i for one reviewed at Rachell Allen Reviewers at Kalaw branch..now ALLGEN...
i enjoyed my review there as i get to interact with my reviewmates..we made brainstoming and stuff..lecturers were also very much accomodating to our questions...and also to add, free water and candies..

all i can say is that passing or failing the NCLEX is really up to you...how you will appreciate the lectures (if you enrolled in a review center), how you discipline yourself in terms of preparation for the BIG DAY, your confidence, and your faith.....combining all of these forces made me pass NCLEX-RN on my first take.

it seems that there are more nclex review center poping out like a mushroom everywhere. before chosing a review center better have a background check on it or ask those who had their review some feedback to validate if it is wise to review there.

nowadays its not practical to have a review center which cost of thousands. passing the exam dose not rely on the review center. it all boils down to the foundation of your knowledge. remember spend money wisely!

i was a student early this year at rachellallen kalaw, i really don't recommend anyone to review their, i was just disappointed, it is the very first time that i almost fell asleep during a lecture and it did not happen once but several times. and for me i think i should review further because the review for me is insufficient to make me pass the nclex, sorry it is my honest assessment of their review program..better just do the saunder program of suzanne 4 i think that is more helpful than any review center out there
