I can say that i've had a good education/background which i am able to use now but the feedbacks i've heard from one of the professors there who also graduated there isn't really impressive. he opted to transfer to another school to teach for reasons which i decided not to discuss here. please take time to check all the schools you're considering like what i did and do visit them personally and try to talk to the dean or anybody from the college of nursing so you may get more info on how things are done. i suggest pamantasan ng lungsod ng makati.. one of the best schools i was considering and they also offer ladderized courses for 2nd coursers and working students.
are the losing of documents at PWU only an isolated case at their Taft branch?

i do have a friend who graduated at PWU (QC) and i have spoken to her about your case and so far she hasn't experienced such at he alma mater

hi. i'm currently studying as a second courser in PWU EDSA and all i could say is that no hassle about everything..like in any other campus, you should self study and not depend on the profs.one good thing about being in there is during your duty...you'll be hands on about your RLE and you'll really learn from it...i recommend this school..it's better and not crowded unlike the others.DR. Wong is the best! ^^*

I graduated from their second courser program too. I remember a couple of years back, when I was still scouting for a nursing school, what enticed me to enter this school is the length of the program. This had by far, the shortest program duration amongst the schools accepting second coursers at that time. I think the quality of education, is balanced out by each professors - there are those whom you'd just love, and some that you won't. If you are just after the degree, this is a can-do school. You know how to study on your own anyway. Oh in case you haven't researched it yet, this is one of the most expensive nursing schools out there.

This might sound really stupid, but what is a second courser? I'm a college freshman at IU and I'm thinking of going to school at PWU because they have tri-mester program. So I guess my question is would I be able to get in to PWU as a transferee?

a second courser is someone who has already graduated from another 4-year course.. example, I graduated with a biology degree from UP and then decided to take up nursing as a second course.

yes, you can transfer to PWU as long as you meet their requirements, just search their web page or inquire at the registrar/admissions office
