I chose Taiwan as my Testing center. I already have my ATT. Does anybody here who chose Taiwan as his/her test center. I have few questions regarding the requirements like visa, accommodations..etc. Any inputs will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Hello, I scheduled to take the NCLEX in Taipei, Taiwan as well. Airfare from China Airlines and Eva Air are cheaper, compared to Philippine Airlines. Your travel agent will be able to provide you with details on visa requirements. Good luck to us!

I have chosen to fly with EVA air a couple of times in my trips before. They have a reasonable price, and this airline is actually based in Taiwan. Taiwan is very interesting to explore. There are lots of Filipinos in that place. But a problem that I encountered while there was that people don’t speak in English, thus, asking questions may be hard at most times (unless of course you meet a fellow Filipino and he/she helps you out).

hi there please share your idea. you took the nclex in taipei? how much?including the airfare and accomodation. do you need visa to enter?

Airfare to taipei will cost between 315 to 350 us dollars. I opted to stay in a hostel, much cheaper than a budget hotel. It costs 15 dollars for a single room, cheaper if you get a dormitory room, where there are 6 beds to a room, not coed. The hostel I stayed in was 5 mrt stops away from the testing center, 10 minutes, tops. Costs less than a dollar one way. Meals would cost you around 10 usd a day. I would suggest that you plan on staying two extra days after the test to see the sights. Of course, I went home the next day. I was so depressed after taking the exam, still am actually... It was so difficult! Got 265 questions! A lot of priority questions. Doubt if I passed... Good luck to you.

Priority questions are a very good thing, and it is just as easy to pass with 265 as it is to fail. The number of questions means absolutely nothing when determining your pass or fail.
