You should have a complete set of requirements before they'll accept your applications for their training. The recommendation letter from the dean is simply your good moral character certificate. You can avail that in the nursing office of your school.

They are strict when it comes to the BLS requirement. They require you to have a Philippine National Red Cross Basic Life Support Training and also NKTI's own BLS Training. They won't accept your applications if you did not meet any requirements. Hope this helps.

is it true that if your BLS is not from red cross its not acceptable even if the institution is recognized by the American heart Association? TIA!

will they accept a cert of attendance for IVt or the training cert if I dont have the IVT card yet (has not finished completion of cases)? I want to join the January2010 batch but I just recently passed the boards and couldnt get things to work faster because of the PRC ID which is still in process....

Please advise. Thanks!!!

piquant.. try to call NKTI.. I have a friend who attended the BST program in Lung Center and she just showed her Cert. of Attendance as well as the Completion form of her cases in IVT and she's been allowed to apply. I don't know with NKTI.. try asking them though....surely it will help. Good Bless!!!

Thanks narscathy! I already called NKTI and they said they really want the IVT CARD!!! argh!!! anyways, i'll see if my backer can help me....I just dont want to lose the slot for the next batch.

I really plan to complete ALL the requirements but I read here that ANSAP can only release the IVT card 2months after the completion.

oh well....

are there anybody here who is already a staff nurse at NKTI? i just want some tips with regards to their application process for Staff Nurse position. I've passed my requirements last Aug 14 and luckily had my iq, eq and personality test last Sept 10. Someone from HRD told me that the next step would be the clinical test. Please answers some of my questions:
How many months will I wait for the said exam?
Is it really hard? I've heard 50-75% failed this exam.
After that what is the next step in their screening process?
Is it true that they are hiring nurses now? I've seen their post on their website regarding items that are vacant. And I am amazed that there are many vacant positions for Nurse I and II.

Thanks. I really wished I'll pass the application process and become a staff nurse @ NKTI.

hi! does anybody know the schedule for the next DMC training? 30k is expensive.... is it worth it? i've had 6 months experience in a 100 bed capacity hospital... would that be enough, since the required experience is from a 150 bed capacity hosp... thanx!
