MSN or MAN: Thesis or Non-thesis program

Hi guys! Just want to ask some few questions that's been boggling my mind these past few days. I hope you could help me to decide. Im planning to take up a Masteral degree this June 2009. I haven't decided yet what to take up, either MAN or MSN. I know by myself that I want to specialize in the clinical area ( so probably you would say that answers my question, take up MSN! toinks! ) FYI, MSN program does not require thesis. Could you enlighten me on the importance of thesis-writing? MSN and MAN curriculum in UERM are EXACTLY the same. The only difference is that MAN program requires thesis-writing while MSN don't. As far as I know, UERM is the only nursing school here in Metro Manila that offers MSN program.

Hope you could enlighten me on this one..
