hi

try to read this forum: http://allnurses.com/forums/f235/whe...mc-246946.html

Although I haven't applied in MMC but I think the requirements your photocopied TOR, diploma, PRC documents such as the certificate and grades and original copy of your updated resume. If there is other special requirements they needed is that you must have your IV training and BLS.

I've heard from that forums is that they don't entertain applicants as of now. They will entertain them by January next year but If you want, they have this training CETN which cost 8000php. If you're interested, try to visit them, call or visit their website.

Hope this helps!

I think its better if you read other threads. But I haven't mentioned on my previous post regarding how long it would take an applicant. Here's what I've experienced. I submitted all my requirements in the training office last Oct. 3 and they texted me oct. 10. I had my panel interview by Oct. 12 then they texted me Oct. 14 that I passed the interview. Done my PE. Now I'm just waiting for the result and the orientation will be on Nov. 19.

You can submit your requirements take note: not just the resume.... All the requirements written there. But..... they will still process it next year specifically January as what is written in the training office. They opened a direct hiring for staff nurse position but they only accept their own graduates. Next year, I'm sure they'll be open for hiring again for outsiders and their own graduates...

Regarding the CETN, hiring for this program is already closed since last Oct. From what I saw, they already started their training last month.

Hope I answered your question....

Oh one more thing, they really dont require a BLS, IVT and ALS license for their applicants unlike asian. If you already have these trainings, then good! It's an edge and plus points on your part.

Hello fellow nurses,

I am also interested in applying for MMC as a staff nurse. I am 33y/o and been out of clinical practice for 4 years though I am currently working as a school nurse. I've applied to them thru online application via jobstreet.com..they post an ad there dated Oct. 30, 2007. I hope I will be shorlisted because i am really eager to go back to practice....and thanks to all those nurses who contibuted their infos regarding MMC application...

Hi! For the CETN Program, are all non-MMC nursing grads required to undergo this kind of training? What else we can get from paying P8,000 because this is really expensive for a 3 month training. Thanks in advance.

Not all. This program is not required before becoming a staff nurse there... Its your choice if you want to undergo their training then after that, you can apply as a staff nurse or just live the institution.

Hi! Does the CETN program also includes interview and examination? or you just submit the requirements and pay for the training?
