to jessnextdoor, What are their criterias in accepting applicants for bst?
I'm a 2006 Arellano University graduate, 06/07 board passer, never had clinical experience, been working at a call center for almost 3 years. Do you think they will accept me?
I heard there were people who weren't accepted..
I think lcp and nkti are the only good hospitals that provide basic skills training..nkti has a lot of requirements to complete (bls should be by red cross,hepa b screening)

@joanbunyi - Requirements:

1. Resume with latest picture
2. TOR including Diploma & RLE Records (xerox)
3. Board Rating (xerox)
4. PRC License (xerox, back to back)
5. PRC Certificate (xerox)
6. Picture 1x1 - 2 pcs.
7. Chest X-ray & PPD (c/o LCP. they will give you instructions regarding this)
8. Brown Envelope (long)
9. BLS Certificate (xerox) / ID (xerox, back to back)

Regarding your question, "Do you think they will accept me? I heard there were people who weren't accepted.." -- I wont be able to answer that. you have to find out by going there passing the COMPLETE requirements. if you dont have the complete requirements they will say come back next batch or next year. This July 6,2009 they already started accepting applications for the next batch so i suggest you go there na if you really want to join. And if you're still working at the call center it would be hard (if not impossible) to juggle it with this BST. Good luck, Godbless

@steadRN - as long as you have the ANSAP IVT certificate you can present that and give them a xerox copy and just inform them that ANSAP hasnt released your IVT card yet. I dont know about the BLS if they will accept if not from Red Cross.

Hi I belong to BST Batch 15 trainees. We started our training August 4 and ended last November 11, 2008. At that time the training fee is only P5000.00 Just wanted to share.
