I can't believe I have learned so much in a span of 3 weeks. Almost all of the patients are mechanically ventilated and we are assigned 2-3 patients per trainee. Cases include MI, CVA, post craniectomy, Guillan Barre, post ptca, patients an many others. At first I wanted to quit due to information overload

but as time passes by, I get used to it and I feel like I don't want to leave the critical care unit. I want to be assigned there forever! Right now, I am already assigned in the private division ward... and I'm already missing the thrill and excitement in providing overall patient care in the intensive care units. I love the being an intensive care unit nurse. I've already found which area I belong...yey!

I hope you could also apply to their training, it's worth your while
